Today, May 28, marks two important events: my best friend Katie’s 25th birthday and National Hamburger Day! If you want to take part in National Hamburger Day and enjoy some burger specials, you may want to check out these two burger joints. The Rare Bar & Grill in the Fashion 26 Hotel on 26th Street and 7th Avenue is offering a $20.10 burger special. You can get the “Original Louis Lunch” or Signature Cheese burger, a side of fries and a beer for $20.10. If you have no idea what the Louis Lunch is (I didn’t either), it is a beef patty, topped with a grilled onion and served on white toast with sharp cheddar.
An alternative option to Rare is The Parlour Midtown, located on 30th between 7th and 8th. This restaurant is serving a proprietary La Frieda blend short-rib and brisket burger, with a draft beer and fries for only $10. If you are looking forward to enjoying a burger this holiday weekend, this is an affordable way to kick it off.

Love this! Also, Big Daddy’s is having a special - buy a burger and get a milkshake half-off.
