It’s a tradition at work when a new guy starts, we all go to lunch as a group. As the only girl in the office and a lover of restaurants, I naturally am the one to pick the place. I’ve raved about Park Ave Winter before and have claimed that it was one of my better Restaurant Week experiences. As a result, I was looking forward to trying their summer menu, since the menu [...] The other day my co-workers and I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and find a spot where we could dine outside. While walking up the streets of Soho, we couldn’t find an affordable spot with outdoor dining (suggestions welcomed), so instead my co-worker Wells directed us to Il Corallo Trattoria, promising [...] Saturday night my roommate and I headed out to dinner with a few friends. Since two of the six of us live on the West Side, we decided to try the dining scene out on the West Side for once. About 20 places were booked for the night for a table of six, but [...] Yesterday for lunch my co-workers and I headed over to Chicca Restaurant (formerly L’Ulivo) down in Soho on Spring Street. Our reason for choosing Chicca - it had outdoor tables. We sat down and noticed that there was a price-fixed lunch special, offering an appetizer and entree for $21.95. Given that most of the lunch entrees [...] A few weeks back, my roommate and I were craving a good Jewish deli sandwich all weekend - it may have been the fact this was around Hanukkah (and yes, I’ve been saving this post for quite some time).
