A few months back, we wrote about Hiptix, a theater program for those under 35 years old. Hiptix gives those 35 and younger theater tickets for only $20 (plus a $1.50 service charge). To get discounted tickets, first join Hiptix by calling 212-719-1300 and ask to be on apart of the Hiptix mailing list. I tried emailing before to get on their mailing list, and never received a confirmation, so calling is best. Next, order your tickets to a show (list of shows are here) and then when you pick up your tickets at the will call box, show your ID. If you bring a guest, they must be under 35 too and have an ID on them.
So why am I telling you about Hiptix again? Well, this Memorial Day Weekend, Hiptix is offering $10 tickets to two Broadway shows. You can see Sondheim on Sondheim or Everyday Rapture for only $10 each, which is a fabulous deal. Call the number for Hiptix, and then use the code ERHIP10 for Everyday Rapture, or SOHIP10 for Sondheim. If you already are a member of Hiptix, you can use these codes when ordering online.
