I’m not going to lie - even though my office is on the border of the West Village, I can’t make it through that neighborhood without staring at Google Maps on my phone. That’s why I’m excited to try the neighborhood out next week at TheDealist’s Tastes of the West Village festival. This event [...] This Sunday, the Sunburnt Cow is celebrating its 7th birthday and it wouldn’t be a party without free food or booze. According to the Facebook invite, from 3 - 11:30 pm, there will be free food and booze for everyone, including a spit roasted cow. Now last year, we wrote about this party and [...] Caryn and I love seeing different plays and musicals, especially when we can see these shows at a discounted price. This October, you can see dozens of performances in New York City for free, thanks to an event called Free Night of Theater [...] Laura recently wrote about her experience at 16 Handles, and I must say, I really like the neighborhood hot spot because it allows you to have complete control over the quantity of your fro-yo and toppings, and thus the total cost since it’s on a “pay for what you buy” model. I’m liking 16 [...] Caryn and I have tried Xoom before at different food festivals, and have really enjoyed the East Village shop’s smoothies. If you’ve wanted to try them, we recommend heading to the shop tomorrow. Apparently, Tuesday is Sambazon Acai Day and from 8-11 am, you can get half-price acai bowls, sambazon swag and free samples.
