I’m not going to lie - even though my office is on the border of the West Village, I can’t make it through that neighborhood without staring at Google Maps on my phone. That’s why I’m excited to try the neighborhood out next week at TheDealist’s Tastes of the West Village festival. Shecky’s Toasts & Tastings is an event that brings together two of my favorite things - food and wine. This event will be held here in [...] I love food festivals, simply because you get to sample different restaurants without breaking the bank. When I saw last week that tickets for TheDealist’s Taste of the Lower East Side were on sale, I got very excited. Last week, we wrote about our experience at Choice Eats, but if you are looking to hit up a food festival that’s manageable (read: less than 75 vendors), you may want to check out theDealist’s “Tastes of the Village” festival. Anywho, despite how busy the past month has been, one event [...] Those in the Financial District are able to score some cheap eats today at lunch (11 am - 2:30 pm). As part of EAT: World Financial Restaurant Showcase, presented by Brookfield Properties, you can enjoy select menu items for only $1-5 from popular restaurants in the area at the World Financial Center. Apparently [...] Yesterday ScoopSt opened a deal for 49% off of signature dishes at five participating restaurants in the city’s first Taste of 7th Street festival.
