Today, one of our lovely readers, Ludmila, sent me a free movie ticket through Homerun. I appreciated the gesture, and clicked the link to get more info. It prompted me to sign on, which I did, and then asked who I wanted to send it too. Normally, I don’t forward these things to anyone, so I didn’t select anyone and went to click next - and it sent to every single person in my address book. Blog contacts, PR professionals, recruiters, friends, family, my accountant - a total of 660 people. Why? Because it autoselected the entire list without giving me the option who to check.
Homerun - this is shady business. As a result, I will never purchase a deal from you ever. If you get this email (most likely from me and my friends who are accidentally sending it), I’m sorry and please be careful!

That’s what happened to me too! Thanks for letting everyone know.
