A couple weeks ago, my boyfriend and I checked out the Museum of the Moving Image (MOMI) in Astoria and I have not been able to stop raving about it. I loved that you were able to see artifacts from your favorite movies - Winona Ryder’s legs in Black Swan, Bill Huxtable’s sweaters, the makeup from Sex and the City, etc. It was a little crowded the day we went but the museum is pretty interactive, with the ability to insert sound effects into your favorite scenes and do voiceovers.
