Earlier this year we told you about Hiptix, a theater program where you can get tickets to off-Broadway shows for only $20 just for being under 35. To get discounted tickets, first join Hiptix by calling 212-719-1300 and ask to be on the Hiptix mailing list. Next, order your tickets to a show (which you can do by phone) and then when you pick up your tickets at the will call box, show your ID. If you bring a guest, they must be under 35 too and have an ID on them.
Sometimes Hiptix runs different promotions where you can get theater tickets at an even steeper discount. This week, you can get $10 tickets to Brief Encounter, and I’ve heard from our reader Hailey that this show is definitely worth seeing.
