Last week, I was reading some of my favorite blogs feeds on Netvibes, when one of the posts from Time Out New York’s The Feed Blog caught my eye. Steaks are $12.95 on Mondays at Chez Lucienne in Harlem (125th and Malcolm X Blvd). Let me rephrase. $12.95. Steaks. I’m sorry, am I in Chili’s?
So what does $12.95 get you? Every Monday, there is a steak special (skirt, rib eye, London broil) or you can get two kobe burgers. From looking at the regular menu, this eatery typically prices its skirt steak at $22.95 (and this comes with fries). The menu also prices sides at $4.95, but according to Time Out New York, during this promotion they are a bit cheaper at $3.95.
