Looking for something fun and cheap to do on Halloween that doesn’t include crowded bars? Check out 39 Steps, the longest running thriller comedy on Broadway. This Saturday, the Hitchcock play is hosting the 39 Steps Halloween Hitchcock Costume Contest. You have to either email your Hitchcock-inspired Halloween costume idea ahead of time or show up dressed in it in order to be eligible for a free showing and prize package (details on this package have not been released, but should include show merchandise, movie passes, tickets to Madame Tussauds and more). They’re accepting contestants at the theatre on Saturday from 6:30pm - 7:30pm for the 8 pm showing, and they’re giving away tickets (number is not disclosed) on a first come, first serve basis. That said, your best bet may be to email your costume idea ahead of time. More details, including the email address, can be found here: http://39stepsonbroadway.com./halloween.html. Good luck!
Just for fun, I’m including my first Halloween photo. Why do I have this scanned and on my computer? It doesn’t really matter, what matters is that I’m sharing it with all of you.

I guess if I got really desperate for a costume, I could have gone as a bunny.
