Try This Trick! SeamlessWeb.com and a Deal Alert!

I have to admit, over the past few weeks I’ve started to love Seamless Web. If you aren’t familiar with Seamless Web, it’s a service where you can search for restaurants in your delivery area and order a meal online (note: some restaurants do not participate). Even better, you can charge your whole meal to your credit card, including tax and tip - eliminating the awkward fumbling through your wallet for a few singles when the delivery person arrives.

Looking to save a few bucks on your take-out? When I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for, I will often log in, type my address and then as the restaurants appear, sort by deals. Often, the deal is 20% off, ultimately eliminating tax and tip. By searching for restaurants this way, I’ve tried some new places - and received a few bucks off.

If you are new to Seamless Web, I’d recommend creating an account, even if you don’t plan on using the service this week. Chances are, you’ll receive a coupon in your email for $5 off your first order. Keep in mind you can’t combine offers, but $5 off definitely helps!

In addition, keep your eyes open for coupons from your favorite restaurants. Before ordering through Seamless Web, check the Web site of the restaurant. A quick visit to Chop’t revealed that by simply typing SALAD25 in the promo code spot during checkout, you receive 25% off your first order.

Anyone else know of restaurants offering up special codes on Seamless Web? Let us know!
