Yes, I know it’s old news that you get $5 free at Duane Reade after you earn 100 points, or in other words, spend $100. But the newly renovated Duane Reade at 34th and 3rd is upping the deal. Spend $15 before August 21st and you get 100 points (aka $5 free) on your next purchase starting August 26th. Oh, and don’t be surprised if the 100 points don’t show up immediately on your receipt…I asked about it last night and they said it shows up the following day. Lo and behold, I received an email this morning confirming my 100 points.
They also have a new thing called the Wow! New York Deal of the Week kind of promotion. I’m not sure if it’s just for the DR on 34th and 3rd, but this week you can get 3 Colgate (I think) tubes of toothpaste (get the ones with a free toothbrush for added value) for only $6. I stocked up and should have pearly whites for months to come. And an extra $5 to show for it.
