Thanks to The Skint, I just bought $135 worth of gift certificates to restaurants for $19.80. That’s right, not even $20.
Restaurant.com is holding a promotion until July 28th offering restaurant gift certificates for 80% off. Typically they offer $25 certificates for $10 (sometimes $10 certificates for $4 or $50 certificates for $15), and that’s great because you save $15. But today, if you select a certificate and type in “napkin” in your shopping cart’s promo box, you pay only $2, or 80%. So that’s $23 for free! There are caveats - you may need to spend $50 on food, it may not be valid on weekends, etc., but those details are made clear. It usually ends up covering about one entrée, so it’s definitely worth it. You can “continue shopping,” so you can buy as many as you want. This deal is working around the country, so everyone can take advantage of it!

I can’t tell you how excited, yet overwhelmed, I am about this. Thanks 89thandbroke for once again making my day.
