While the Upper West Side seems nice, the trek from the East Side sometimes makes the west look a 
little less appealing. When I make my way over there, I guess I could always wait for a bus, but I usually toss in the towel way too early and take a cab - ultimately, decreasing the money I can spend on drinks. However, the Village Pourhouse‘s Columbia branch actually rewards you for taking a cab over to their Amsterdam and 108th location. Take a cab to the Upper West side, show the bartender your receipt and you’ll receive a bar tab in the amount of your taxi fare.
