Arctica Bar & Grill in Murray Hill is celebrating its 2nd year anniversary this Thursday in 89thandBroke style: free happy hour from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Happy hour specials ($6 martinis, $4 select drafts and $3 Miller Lites) will continue all night after 7:30, so it’s sure to be a fun and cheap time. Arctica is an Arctic-themed pub with plasma TVs for sporting events, DJs on weekend nights, open mic night on Wednesdays, happy hour Tuesday - Friday from 4 - 8 pm, and an extended happy hour until 10 pm on Mondays. I’m happy to report that this was a 5 star event. It wasn’t too crowded, we had prime spots at the main bar (I even had a seat), we had incredible service, top shelf was included, and we each had 4-7 free drinks in an hour…not too shabby at all. Well done Arctica!
Don’t forget the top notch cheeseburgers!
I must say, this was a great find. Unlike most places that make you stick to one drink at a time during a happy hour, these bartenders gave away as many as we wanted. We were stocked up on drinks well past the deadline. Definetely a 5 star event.
