Last week, I was invited in to try Fino Wall Street. Since we were in the mood for pasta, we decided to check out Spina on Ave B. Spina had a happy hour going on til 8, so we took advantage of a meatball dish – [...] Last week, I happened to be on a date and suggested that we head over to Ornella’s in Astoria.  I hadn’t been in nearly two years, but remembered our meal was fabulous.  When I walked in, I was shocked when the owner recognized me, and was also shocked that it was $10 pasta [...] To mark its 10th year, Savoia Restaurant in Carroll Gardens is offering patrons a free glass of wine and serving of tiramisu with each dinner order tomorrow, January 10th from 4:30-6:30 pm. I went with my roommate Katie, Red Headed Correspondent (and photographer here!), and we had a great afternoon walking around Nolita, trying savory and sweet dishes from seven hot spots, and shopping for jewelry and other fun [...] Last week, my friends and I decided to catch up over dinner. We all agreed that we wanted to be on the East side, and before I knew it, we planned on Via Della Pace. We scooped up a restaurant.com gift certificate at a 70% off discount and were ready to enjoy our meal. We [...] Several months ago Laura (thoughts in italics) and I purchased vouchers for Ahoy NY Tours & Tastings‘ food tour of Little Italy and Chinatown (look below for your own discount).
