A while back I went with my boyfriend’s family to dine at E & E Grill House. Now for full disclosure, his family knows the owner, but let’s just put it this way, if I didn’t like it I simply wouldn’t write about it. So on Saturday, my boyfriend and I biked to Ditmars Blvd in Astoria to [...] One of our favorites, Idle Hands, is beginning a long celebration today in honor of its one year anniversary, coinciding with NY Craft Beer Week and the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. They also recently added That Burger to its kitchen full-time (shared with Billy Hurricane’s upstairs), so you can always get delicious food at the bar (and [...] Our friends at The Skint told us about this promotion going on this week with The Bistro Truck.  The Bistro Truck is teaming up with Jennie-O Turkey Burgers to give out 500+ turkey burgers a day – for FREE.  Burgers will be handed out from 11-3 – our advice is to get there early. [...] To celebrate the first anniversary of goodburger’s Columbus Circle location (977 8th Avenue), they’re selling their single burgers today for a mere $1! Stop in between 12 – 6pm for your $1 burger, and if you go around 1 pm you may score some birthday cake as well! Or go between 3 – 5pm [...] If you’re sticking around the city this weekend (I actually love fourth of July in NYC), then you’re probably thinking about where to catch the fireworks. Naturally your own/a friend’s rooftop is ideal and free, but if you don’t have that option or if you’re looking for something different, here are a few ways [...] It’s back! Through June, get a burger at Energy Kitchen for just $5.  The only catch is that this is an in-store only deal, so you’ll have to leave your desk to pick up your lunch – which we guess is okay since the weather is much nicer.  Plus, in addition to the [...] At dinner the other night, my friends were talking about their favorite burger spots in NYC, and Corner Bistro came up more than once. My friends swore by their burgers, saying that they “taste like homemade burgers grilled in your backyard,” giving it a distinct taste over the Pat LaFrieda meat and gourmet specialty [...] This month is National Burger Month.  To celebrate, Goodburger is offering $1 single burgers every Wednesday in May from 3-5 pm. Locations are all around the city, so you can find one near you here.  Note there is a max of 5 burgers per person, so you won’t be able to grab burgers for [...] One of my favorite places to eat in Astoria is 5 Napkin Burger.  Now before you start thinking this is another Astoria post, there are locations in Hell’s Kitchen and the Upper West Side too!
