Today, May 28, marks two important events: Â my best friend Katie’s 25th birthday and National Hamburger Day! Â If you want to take part in National Hamburger Day and enjoy some burger specials, you may want to check out these two burger joints. Â The Rare Bar & Grill in the Fashion 26 Hotel on 26th Street and 7th Avenue is offering a $20.10 burger special. Â You can get the “Original Louis Lunch” or Signature Cheese burger, a side of fries and a beer for $20.10. Â If you have no idea what the Louis Lunch is (I didn’t either), it is a beef patty, topped with a grilled onion and served on white toast with sharp cheddar.
An alternative option to Rare is The Parlour Midtown, located on 30th between 7th and 8th. Â This restaurant is serving a proprietary La Frieda blend short-rib and brisket burger, with a draft beer and fries for only $10. Â If you are looking forward to enjoying a burger this holiday weekend, this is an affordable way to kick it off.

Love this! Also, Big Daddy’s is having a special – buy a burger and get a milkshake half-off.
