I really respect that the East Village Cuban restaurant Carteles is offering a deal for local, neighborhood residents.  According to Eater, now through April 1, prove you live in the neighborhood by showing your license or mail, and you’ll get a sandwich and chips for $5.  Carteles is located on 6th Street between 1st and Ave A and the deal is valid from 3-7 p.m.  Now Murray Hill establishments – when are you going to offer a deal for this local resident?
