As always, The Dealist‘s neighborhood food crawl, Tastes of Nolita, proved to be a deliciously delightful day! I went with my roommate Katie, Red Headed Correspondent (and photographer here!), and we had a great afternoon walking around Nolita, trying savory and sweet dishes from seven hot spots, and shopping for jewelry and other fun [...] We received word that Campo de’ Fiori in Park Slope will be dishing out free pizza today from 5-11pm!  Get ready to try samples of their three signature pizzas – the signature Matriciana (delicious pasta translated to pizza with bacon, pecornio cheese and San Marzanoi tomatoes), Burrata (fresh creamy mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, mixed greens, basil and olive [...] We’ve written about some of the deals at Uno Chicago Grill in the past and they have a new one worthy of sharing on Sunday, February 6th and Monday, February 7th for Military members. Uno’s is sending Deep Dish Pizzas overseas for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to enjoy during the Super Bowl game, [...] Caryn and I don’t see each other nearly as often as we’d like, so when she was by my office the other day, she suggested we meet up for lunch.  Since we’re both bargain hunters, Spunto was the perfect spot for a sit-down lunch because of its affordable lunch menu. To become an Insider, simply sign-up on on their website (free of charge).  You’ll start getting emails immediately (my first offer was  a free appetizer), and now the 86th Street location is having another special. Tomorrow and 12/6-12/9 you [...] I’ve heard a ton about Two Boots pizza over the past few years (and we’ve even shared some Deal Alerts), but for some unknown reason I had never been there before. That changed a few weeks ago when my boyfriend discovered there was one a few blocks from me and insisted that we go. [...] Today the original Patsy’s is celebrating its 77th anniversary with 60 cent pizzas, 90 cent 12-oz steaks and 10 cent sodas!
