About a year ago, Caryn and I told you about a new Thai/Chinese/Japanese place that opened up in Murray Hill, called East Pacific. Â While I’m not too crazy on places that offer different cuisines, this spot was a solid takeout spot, with huge portions – so big I was often able to make two meals out of my pad thai. Â Furthermore, if you order as an office, it was nice because there was something on the menu that everyone can enjoy.
I had noticed a sign as I walked by East Pacific a week or so ago, but it wasn’t until I received my
Valpak coupons in the mail that I knew my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. Â East Pacific is offering 12% off when you order online (yes, I too was confused why 12% and not 10 or 15?). Â Anyways, according to the menu if you log onto eastpacificii.com, you’ll save 12% when you order online. Â It is that simple.
Something else also caught my eye on this advertisement. Â If you come in for happy hour with 4 people or more, you’ll get a free appetizer. Â Happy Hour runs from 3-8pm and drinks are 50% off.
I just tried this and it worked, but they have sort of a wacky system. I placed the order online for pickup and gave them my credit card number, and it still charged me the normal price. But when I went and picked it up, they asked for my credit card so that they could charge me the discount price. As long as I don’t get charged twice I’ll be happy.
