Recently I stumbled across the site Overtime, which is a company that throws happy hour parties for young professionals. Â Happy hour and young professionals? Â This clearly is right up my alley.
The venues that Overtime works with are a little more upscale than my traditional happy hour spots (aka not a dive bar) and it’s free to join the mailing list.  It looks like there is one happy hour a month, so you won’t be inundated with emails, and if you’d prefer to be notified of events via Facebook, there is a group you can join instead.
The open bar prices range from month to month and usually the prices for girls can be a bit cheaper (no whining guys). Â If you’d prefer to just show up and not RSVP in advance though, your open bar price will be a bit higher.
This month’s happy hour is at La Pomme from 7-8 p.m. tomorrow night, March 26, and includes an open vodka bar with cosmos and appletinis. Â The event is free for girls and $10 for guys with an RSVP – and you must RSVP by 5 p.m. on the 26th (note: to RSVP you must click on this link, not comment on our blog). Â If you prefer to just show up, it is $10 for girls, $20 for guys.
I love Overtime. Best happy hour I ever been to with actual dancing and not just standing around drinking away. Can’t wait!
