While I can tell you where the best place is to get rice pudding in the city or where I like to get nachos, unfortunately I’m not educated enough to tell you what bars Andy Warhol frequently visited, or where a former president made an infamous speech. Â But, that’s why there are walking tours.
The Village Alliance offers walking tours of Greenwich Village every other Saturday, and is offering a tour tomorrow, June 27. Â The tour starts at 11:30 a.m. from the Northwest corner of Second Ave and St. Marks Place. Â Included on the tour is the spot where Abe Lincoln declared “right makes might” and artist Jackson Pollock’s former home.
