A few weeks back, I was invited to try Beet, a new American restaurant on the UES on 2nd between 84th and 85th. As someone who used to live on the UES, this restaurant felt like a grown up restaurant in the neighborhood, different than one of the restaurants that has a huge bar [...] To kick off Restaurant Week, I headed to Park Ave Summer on Monday with a few of my girlfriends. Â I’ve raved about Park Ave Winter before and have claimed that it was one of my better Restaurant Week experiences. To celebrate its first brunch, all patrons will be able to enjoy a 50% discount on specialty drinks: Bloody Mary, Cucumber Martini and a West 10th Street Iced Tea.
