Giveaway! Win Concert Tickets at Carnegie Hall!

CONGRATS TO MIKE AND LIZ (#11 and #13)

Guess what? We’re giving away two tickets to two Carnegie Hall concerts! One lucky winner will see Of Life and Liberty on Sunday, January 19th at 2pm and another winner will see The Music of Karl Jenkins on Monday, January 20th at 7:30pm. These tickets are courtesy of Distinguished Concerts International, New York.

OF LIFE AND LIBERTY: The New York premiere of Requiem for the Living, by DCINY composer-in-residence Dan Forrest, is a lush work for full orchestra and choir. The five-movement piece presents an uplifting and inspiring perspective on life, love, loss, and renewal. This concert will also feature the patriotic The Testament of Freedom by Randall Thompson and The Gettysburg Address by Mark Hayes. You can buy tickets here.

THE MUSIC OF KARL JENKINS: DCINY honors the 70th birthday of UK composer Karl Jenkins with an evening comprised entirely of compositions by the honoree. Homages include the US premiere of Jenkins’ The Bards of Wales, the piece Stabat Mater, and Benedictus from the full-length work The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. You can buy tickets here.

HOW TO WIN: Comment below and tell us what day you can attend the performance – Sunday, Monday or both. We’ll pick two winners on Monday, so share with us your availability by Sunday, 12/15 at 11:59pm EST.
