CONGRATS TO #14, SYDIA!
One musical I’m excited to see this spring is Hands on a Hardbody, simply because the music is by Trey Anastasio of PHiSH. The music is supposed to be different than a traditional Broadway show, so I’m excited to see how it is executed. Inspired by true events, the show is about 10 hard-luck Texans who for 4 days, will fight to keep one hand on a brand-new truck in order to win it.
Previews begin February 23, and the show opens March 21. Best part is…you can win two tickets from 89th and Broke!

I’m planning to drink lots of spiked hot cocoa and catch up on magazines and books this weekend!
During the blizzard this weekend I will be indulging in a musical extravaganza at home. Starting with The King and I, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, Chicago, The Birdcage and West Side Story. Love musicals and Broadway shows.
Let the wind howl, let the snow blow…I will be a dancing and singing fool this weekend!
I plan on not leaving my apartment and clearing out my DVR!
I’m already home-bound for the weekend recovering from a surgery, so I’ll be in bed watching more of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy on DVD with my cat.

Friday, I would like to do a blizzard bar crawl. Saturday & Sunday, depending on the amount of snow, I would like to take a walk through Central Park, and follow it up with homemade hot chocolate (and “Whipped” vodka), and I will be finishing season 1 of Homeland.
Drink way too much wine, make smores, catch up on movies and give my puppy and hubby lots of QT!
I think I’ll be staying home tonight watching TV!
I’m actually heading the gym right now. I’m committed to that resolutions still. Saturday, I’m going to a screening in the am, TG Whitney’s Mardi Gras Walk in the afternoon (Thanxs to 89th&Broke) then the MET to complete an Art History assignment due Tuesday. Sunday is a potluck with girl-talk & friends. Cheers to Blizzard Weekend! You can’t stop a NYer.

So as long as my husband doesn’t hog the TV I’ll be cleaning it out…. And hopefully make it to a comedy show my friend is performing in
Make a dent on the ever-increasing-beer from beer of the month membership, watch HBO on demands, make spicy tofu stew, and read Daughters of Smoke and Bone. My boyfriend LOVES phish so we absolutely must see this musical!
Makin luv to my tonic & gin…& maybe watch all 6 original Star Trek movies…wow I’m fun!
Today (Friday), I’m going through my gazillion emails.
Tomorrow (Saturday) it’s playtime in the snow and a pseudo bbq in Queens with my fun boyfriend and his really cool family!

I left nyc and nemo this morning at 4 am for some mardi gras festivities in new orleans! I will be back on mon.
Planning to stay in, pay bills, clean up and drink hot cocoa. But may venture out for a movie Saturday night.

Caught up on DVDs Friday night. But didn’t let the blizzard stop the rest of my weekend plans. I spent Saturday in the dance studio and celebrated Lunar New Year with friends on Sunday.

I finished watching House Of Cards on Netflix. So good! I’ve forgotten what a great actor Kevin Spacey is.
Grammys! Catching up some zzz’s and making a VDay gift for my love.
Took some Nemo photos with my new DSLR, did 3 loads of laundry, planned a ski trip out in CO, kept warm with Earl Grey tea, ate soup dumplings – it’s Chinese New Year after all!
