The Bad and the Better, is a new riveting detective noir centered around the Lang brothers and is presented at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater at 416 W 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Ave. One bother has everything to lose. One with everything to prove. Both in too deep. Set in the basements, balconies and bars where secrets are whispered and revealed, join a group of local anarchists, law enforcement officials and political power players. All are waging war: against injustice, corruption and, ultimately, the people they love the most. A cautionary tale about the hypocrisy of extreme principles, The Bad and the Better explores the dangers of maintaining loyalty and protecting your family, whoever they are, at any cost.

Favorite bar has to be Shoolbred’s. What’s not to like? Candied bacon covered deviled eggs, leather chairs in front of the fireplace, a little hideaway to catch up with friends. They have a little outdoor section now too. Plus it’s the place I first told my wife I loved her, in the style of David Cassidy. “Hey, I think I love you”.
Half King
Working in the Flatiron district, I’ve come to love No Idea bar – huge, cheap & strong drinks, a jukebox and a pool table? Can’t beat that!
Zuni, in Hell’s Kitchen. $4 Frozen Margaritas every day!
I like goign to Sweet Afton in Astoria – great atmosphere and mac & cheese.
