Last summer I may have told you about Idle Hands on Avenue B between 2nd and 3rd Street and named a few reasons why I thought this bar was a great spot (the staff and the beer selection are both 
incredible, just to name a few). Add one more reason to your list – Wednesday’s are $10 beer and bourbon tasting at Idle Hands.
What does that mean $10 will get you? Well each week there are different breweries and distilleries featured, on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. You’ll receive:
- A taste of the featured bourbon
- 3 tastes of the featured breweries (a la a beer flight)
- 2 full pours of featured breweries (read: 2 beers)
- And an order of tator tots…ALL FOR $10.
Depending on the brewery, some nights reservations are required but most of the time, they are just recommended. Check out the calendar to see which breweries will be featured over the next few weeks! I like too that if you click on more details about each brewery, you’ll even see which beers they are sampling.
