Follow @sprinklesny to get a free cupcake at Sprinkles on 60th and Lexington. Â Every single day they tweet a password that you’ll need to whisper at the counter to score a free cupcake. Â Keep in mind, the word you must whisper is associated to a certain flavor. So earlier this week, “free” got you a free vanilla, while “chip chip hooray” on Tuesday got you a free peanut butter chip.
Georgetown Cupcake is pretty similar, but you have to just order a certain flavor of the day from the secret menu in order to get your cupcake for free. Â It seems like they tweet almost every day and it’s limited to the first 100 people. Flavors include cherry cheesecake and lemon blueberry.
