First, our friends at The Skint compiled a comprehensive list of cheap (or even free!) Halloween activities over the coming days, so be sure to check out their list if you’re looking for something to do.
Additionally, Circle Line is hosting a Phantom’s Masquerade Cruise on Saturday, October 29 from 9 pm – midnight (boarding begins at 8:30 pm). Everyone is encouraged to dress up and the person with the best costume will win two tickets to Phantom of the Opera’s 10,000th performance. To get the party started, all guests will receive a complementary glass of champagne upon boarding, courtesy of B. Smith’s Restaurants, and Heartland Brewery graciously donated Smiling Pumpkin Ale and Grateful Red Lager for everyone to drink all night long. Tickets are $40 and available for purchase here.
To channel your inner kid while appealing to your adult-like tendencies, consider the pumpkin decorating event at the 20th and 1st location of Petite Abeille. Bring in your best decorated pumpkin by 3 pm on Sunday and the owner, Yves Jadot, will select a winner at 4:30 pm (no purchase necessary). The prize? The world’s largest bottle of beer! And this isn’t just a  quirky prize to win – it’s a 9 liter, $450 bottle of Saint Feullien Triple, one of a few brewed annually with only a half dozen making it to NY every year (Petitie Abeille is one of three venues in NYC that offers it).
