According to Chick-fil-A, tomorrow is Cow Appreciation Day and the only way to properly celebrate such a bizarre occasion is to dress as a cow from “head to hoof.” This only seems logical. As a reward for your dedication to the cow, you’ll receive a free meal. And if you’re a “little chicken” as they put it, pun presumably intended, a partial costume will earn you a free entree, so it’s still worth some effort! If you need help with your costume, click the link above for a print out that will help you make a nice ear and nose mask.
On a personal note, this day is more Cait Appreciation Day. Cait, being my sister. After I “acquired” a full body cow costume many years ago for reasons not to be discussed via public blog, my sister found it and made good use of it. Things she’s done in a full cow costume: changed a tire during a high school class demonstration, went trapezing, and skydiving, naturally. So, this day is for you Cait. I can’t wait to see what you do next in a cow costume.
Sorry…my family is weird.

Oh man I missed it by ONE DAY! I actually put this Chik-fil-A day in my iCal last year so I wouldn’t forget…..I thought it was Saturday, but it was Friday instead…..luckily I didn’t come grazing in when no one else was wearing a cow suit..I called first..
