LivingSocial is launching Instant Deals, an iPhone or Android app that allows you to find immediately available deals within a 0.5 mile radius using your smartphone (think Tenka). I can get frustrated having to wait a few days until a deal goes through or closes before I can redeem my voucher, so this is a welcome addition. However, I have a Blackberry so the apps won’t help me, but luckily those without an iPhone or Android can still technically partake in Instant Deals, but we need to search for and purchase vouchers online.
On to the free stuff: in honor of this new feature, LivingSocial is offering $1 vouchers to eateries all around Midtown for lunch today only. Starting at 6 am, you can purchase vouchers for a mere $1 to places like Prime Burger and La Mangeoire that can only be redeemed today between 11 am – 2 pm. There are a limited number of vouchers, so grab these early!
