I hate it when I’m already out and need to quickly (people get impatient easily!) decide on a place for a meal or a drink, knowing that if I had my computer I could easily find a deal nearby versus settling on the closest spot. Yes, my smart phone does help, but I like to check out a variety of sites (daily deal sites, Restaurant.com, blogs, etc.) Â so it’s a bit cumbersome to peruse multiple tabs on a phone.
Enter Bitehunter. Bitehunter is a great tool for foodies and deal-hunters on the go or at home, providing a database of restaurant deals and information aggregated from restaurant directories, newsletters and websites, Facebook, Twitter, daily deal sites and more. You can search  by location, food category, special events and delivery availability, and it shows you all of the relevant daily deals, ongoing deals, etc. It’s nice to have a one-stop shop (beyond 89th and Broke, obviously) to find all of the dining and drinking deals valid at the day, time, and neighborhood that suits you, whether your’e on the go or researching options before a night out.
