Laura and I, along with some our closest friends, are huge 90210 fans, so we’re very excited that today marks the official 90210 Day (on 9.02.10, get it?)! We take our 90210 viewings quite seriously (it used to make for a great hungover Saturday or Sunday afternoons…although recently SoapNet has been screwing things up and rumor has it that the network is on its way out?!). In fact, one day last November a few of us called out sick/took personal days at work so we could have a marathon 90210 day with our own home-made drinking game to accompany it. This is normal, right?
I digress, sort of. Anyway, if you’re looking to celebrate 90210 with drinks, costumes and parties, here are a few options:
- Starting at 9:02:10 pm, Mad46 will be celebrating this great day with creative themed cocktails for $9.02, including The Donna, a virgin pina colada; The Dylan, with Jägermeister; and The David Silver, Patron on the rocks. But that’s not all. They’ll also be airing some of our favorite episodes, costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded, and bottle service for beachy brands like Tommy Bahama rum will be $92.01. - The Peach Pit After Dark (aka M1-5) is hosting a 90210 party tonight starting at 10 pm. No word on any drink specials but I would hope that there’d at least be some good costumes.
- McFadden’s is having a party in honor of the iconic TV show starting at 10 pm with $3 drinks.
