I find that in the winter it can often be hard to convince friends to meet you at a bar – especially when its below 20 degrees and you need to lug a jacket. But when offered free booze, it is a completely different story – everyone wants to go out.
One of my favorite Web sites/newsletters is My Open Bar. My Open Bar sends its readers a weekly email listing every Wednesday of places to drink for free throughout the city. Not ready to sign up for another email list? Just head over to the site to read a listing of restaurants and bars where you can throw back a few free pops.
