Yeah, the rain sucks (I’m currently wearing a co-worker’s gym shorts so my jeans can dry while hanging over my cubicle wall…), but there is something worth smiling about – Celebrate Mexico Now. In its sixth year, this festival celebrates contemporary Mexican art and culture through dance, film, literature, music, and our favorite, cuisine. The most appealing part about Celebrate Mexico now is the New York Authentic Mexican Restaurant Week which offers varying prix-fixe menus from $15-25 for lunch and $20-35 for dinner from September 14 – September 20. We quickly looked around and it doesn’t seem like most of the participating restaurants have listed their menus, but we did find Maya Restaurante‘s and it looks like Pampano is offering an entree special and margarita for $28 at dinner. As always, call ahead to make sure that the deal is definitely going on, and in this case, to find out what the deal actually is.
