February is Pancake Month at the Clinton St. Baking Company. Voted “Best Pancakes” by New York Magazine, you can enjoy specially-flavored pancakes for breakfast, lunch or dinner on weekdays all month long (the only exception being February 14th). Some particularly interesting flavors include strawberries and champagne zabayon, crunchy banana with cinnamon-chili-chocolate sauce pancakes, and coconut pancakes with roasted caramelized pineapple and macadamia nuts. Check out the site to see when your favorite flavor-combo is being served.
And don’t forget that it’s Fondue Month at Artisanal. Indulge in fondue made
with a different cheese each day for a bargain. At $24, a Petite serving is enough for 1-3 people and includes two glasses of Jacquere Apremont Boniface Savoie & Jura 06 wine. If you have a bigger party, or appetite, try the Grande serving for $48 which is designed for 4-6 people and comes with four glasses of the same wine. Each fondue serving comes with one complimentary baigneuses: kielbasa, apple, crudite, fingerling potatoes, air dried beef (+$4) or beef tips (+$5). Check out the menu to see when your favorite cheese is featured.
We’re excited to check out both specials, but please report back if you hit up either before us!
