Mark your calendars, next week (2/9-2/15) is Chocolate & I, New York, a “unique and hedonistic experience” that aims to “transform NYC into a chocolate shrine” with tastings and demonstrations on all things chocolate. There are a dozen participants, and each will offer a different “experience” throughout the week. Most things aren’t free, like Apotheke’s $40 cocktail and chocolate tasting menu, and some places just offer complimentary chocolate and/or drinks after spa treatments, but are some good deals like Tanteo Tequila’s Valentine’s Special: a free cocktail and chocolate tasting on Valentine’s day at several Manhattan locations. And don’t forget about the free brownies and cupcakes!
