Eater reports that SeamlessWeb will be giving away 100,000 cups of coffee at delis and cafes throughout February. All you have to do is go to a participating spot during its assigned week (the list is on the SeamlessWeb Web site) and ask them for a small cup of coffee, on SeamlessWeb. This deal is only valid on weekdays.
I checked it out this morning and I’m so happy to be drinking my free cup of Guy & Gallard coffee. There was a stand outside announcing the deal, so I thought there’d be a huge line, but to my delight there wasn’t. You’re only supposed to take a small cup, but being the rebel that I am I took a medium cup. Also, if you grab one of the SeamlessWeb coffee-cup-cardboard-holder things (no idea what they’re called, I just know that Patrick Dempsey’s character created them in Made of Honor), new customers to SeamlessWeb will get $5 of their first order by using a code (FREECOFFEE).
Enjoy!

[...] for my co-worker Lauren’s birthday this evening. We decided on TG Whitney’s after Caryn shared the following from CitySearch’s Web site [...]
Update- went to Cafe Guy & Gallard on 30th and Park – they handle your SeamlessWeb order, so no upgrade to a medium cup of coffee…but hey, it’s still a free small cup of coffee.
Also, they apparently have 2 for 1 drinks M-F from 5-7, along with apps. Who knew Cafe Guy & Gallard became a bar at night? I asked a woman what the average price of beers and wine were there, and she stared at me blankly. Jokingly, I say – “I guess many people don’t inquire about the price of alcoholic beverages at 9 am.” Nothing. Oh well, we’ll have to check it out and get back to you.
Sorry – correction. It’s the Cafe Guy & Gallard at 31st and Park.
Also, you can register on their Web site – http://www.GuyandGallard.com – for a chance to win 1) Free lunch for 1 week 2) Free breakfast for 1 week 3) Unlimited coffee for 1 week. Winners are chosen on Fridays each week.
